Mark is a customer service oriented owner and so is his helpful staff. I've been an Acton Ace Hardware customer since the last millennium and I've been happy finding most of my needs there. Sure, the net is a resource but I like to support our local businesses, too, being a Middlesex West Chamber member. Ace is the place for certain.

Excellent quality, friendly staff and good selection of wares. The place is pretty kid friendly too.
They refused to accept a simple return and were very snotty with me. That's not how customers should be treated. There are many other options out there that are much better. Avoid.

The staff is excellent. They know the quality and functionality of the products they have. Mark sets the bar high and everyone measures up to it.
Often I get things that I end up not needing. I simply take them back and get the credit. This makes it easy for a non specialist to fix things in his own house. If I describe what I need and they don't think they have the right ones, they tell me. While this does not happen often, it gives me more confidence I am in the right place.
This store is an asset to the area.
