I see the other sales staff trying to help and make things right, and have the impression that Frank if making their work lives very difficult and unpleasant, too.

Frank stated that he was new at this job. He is certainly immature, unprofessional and not ready for the position he holds. I will not do additional business with this company. I recommend Ethan Allen in N. Andover.

One week ago I spoke with Frank to request an installation date. He said he would inform the installer who would contact me on my next available date (2 days hence). I called Frank today to inform him that I never received a call back from the installer. Frank's immediate response was that the installer "was trying to get hold of me." I have no evidence of that as I am at home and have voicemail. His next excuse was that the installer is "independent" and therefore he (Frank) had no influence over the installer's schedule or business practices. Yet, this installer is the sole installer for Calico Corners in Acton and is indeed contracted with the company. I shared my opinion with Frank that the contractual relationship with the installer certainly gives Frank some leverage and responsibility. Frank prefers to defer, rebut and interrupt.

I went to the store to inquire about a disparity in my bill totals. I was told by one saleswoman that prices must have increased after signing my contract and making a 50% deposit. The saleswoman said she would discuss the issue with the store manager and he would contact me. After three weeks, I called Frank. Rather than being apologetic for the misinformation and the delay in contacting me, he was immediately defensive and overtly rude and impatient.

This store's manager (Frank) and some of its employees and contractors provide very poor customer service. I have a $7000+ order pending with them. The only stage of the engagement that was pleasant and rewarding was working with their creative in-store designer who has since left this company.

I used to love this store. The new manager, Frank, is horrible - intruding in conversations with the sales staff (with advice that is wrong because he doesn't get the whole story before speaking up.) Until he arrived at this store, I always was treated well and had a lot of fun shopping here. That is no longer the case. I ordered several items last spring, and expected to receive a phone call when they arrived. Every single item was supposedly delivered late, and by some coincidence arrived at the store within 24 hours of my calling to inquire about it.
